Hey guys, So essentially, I created this message forum for those of you who feed their dogs (or cats) the "Actr1um" brand of kibble. I guess I was tired of the lack of online support (I.E : No manufacturers website is listed on their bags of food; at least...I never saw one! Please correct me if I'm wrong). I wanted to know how well (or not so well) this food is working out for you. Of course this website is UNOFFICIAL and in no way, shape and/or form related to the manufacturers. I'm just an average guy who happens to feed this stuff to my dogs. I'm trying to breed rabbits so I can move towards the raw diet, but for now kibble it is. As most of you know, this is a Walmart brand ("and if you don't know, now you know" - Biggie Smalls a.k.a "The Notorious B.I.G.). I've read somewhere online that Actr1um is made by a company called Elmira Pet Products, but I haven't had any success confirming this. I will send them another e-mail and if I hear back from them this time, I'll be sure to post the results. Well I'm off (for now!).

Hello Admin, I have been a user of Actr1um for a number of years. I had a Standard Poodle that had an allergic reaction to corn, causing an ear infection (yeast). When I moved and could no longer get the brand of lamb and rice we had been using, I started searching for a new food and found Actr1um. It was an excellent choice, great diet costing less money and thankfully not one ear infection! She lived to be almost 14 years of age. I presently adopted a young Cocker Spaniel / mix rescue, she was on Wellness -Complete health. I found she was having four to five large bowel movements a day. Seemed like a lot for a 23lb dog, especially as she had time to settle in to my home and had passed a routine vet check. As soon as I started her of Actr1um Adult, she loved the food and bowel movements seemed far more normal both in size and down to twice daily. Another dog with long ear leathers and so far diet is most helpful to limit possible allergic reaction and/or ear infection something these dogs are susceptible to. I too have heard Actr1um is made by Elmira Pet products a Canadian Company. Someone was given an 800 number that led to www.biobiscuit.com/en/ I have not verified.

I feed both my adult dogs, my puppy and 2 cats Actr1um. They are thriving! One of my dogs is a retired racing greyhound and after 3 months of trying to find something that did not make him sick, we discovered the duck and sweet tater formula. Not only did it agree with him, he gained 5 pounds that he needed.

Hi, from Northern Canada, picked up Actrium puppy - for one thing it was the only puppy food I could find at our Walmart. been less than a week, and supplement with Purina One Puppy. I have a "rescue dog" about 5-6 months of age. hopefully all will go well. Can not find anything except that I googles and found my way to the Bio Biscuit as well.

I have been feeding my 8 month old rottweiler cross Atrium puppy chow since I got her. I find she is really gassy and stinks up the house alot. No other problems though. Anyone else have this problem.

My dog is 9 years old and I have always fed her the Duck and Sweet Potato but just recently switched to Senior Formula. Periodically I have tried to research this but there is so little information. I too encountered Elmira in my investigations but have not heard of biobiscuit. Going by the ingredient list it certainly seems preferable to a lot of other commercial dog foods. I cannot afford to feed her raw all the time but do alternate.
My baby is extremely healthy and so far has no signs of aging........still high energy and acts like a puppy with toys etc. Her coat is very shiny but did have some issue with dry skin in the past. So did I but, since we moved, both of us have improved significantly (that darn electric heat lol).

i. I fed by Boxers Actr1um for 8 years of their lives and had no problems. Now for the last 2 years its my dash hound rescue that eats this food, and I have no problems what so ever. I love the healthly ingredients and the fact that its a Canadian brand.

We have show dogs. Boxers, Borzoi and Bostons. We've been feeding Actrium for about 4 years and it's been fabulous. Our dogs are healthy, coats are shiny and they have tons of energy. We feed the Actrium Large Breed. When we have a litter of puppies they eat Actrium Puppy. Totally sold on this food.

Hey guys, I know it's been forever since my last post (sorry about that!) I had some technical issues. Anyways, it appears to be resolved now. Glad to see we've had some activity since my last post. Welcome to all the new users. Hope you guys share anything ACTR1UM (for dogs) related on my site.
Cheers.

Hey guys. Just got myself a German Shepherd puppy for Christmas. She’s 7 weeks old and I started feeding her beneful puppy dog food but was working for her. So My daughter recommended I use holistic food Actrium. I went to Walmart and found it. ShE loves it and is working very well for her. I will stick to this as much as I can. Hope you guys can try this brand.
I hope this helps. Merry Christmas to all.

Anyone else have this problem. Hmmm. Funny you mentioned that because my 7 week old GS pup seems to be doing the same. Although she’s still new to me I’ll observe and see if she continues to be gassy. thanks
