Hello folks!
I know it's been a while since my last post, but today's a new day & I have an update! This past month I've had some questions about the ACTR1UM Large Breed Adult dog food. I'll spare you my questions; I don't want to go down that rabbit hole. I asked both WalMart & the company rumored to produce ACTR1UM (their name is Elmira Pet Foods).
I asked Elmira Pet Foods if they do in fact make ACTR1UM. No response!
I then asked WalMart who produces ACTR1UM. No response!
Since both sides refuse to answer my question(s), I haven't been able to justify continue buying this product. I'm left with the feeling that WalMart doesn't stand behind their product(s) & my opinion is that they're refusing to answer my question(s) because they don't want to hear from customers whose dogs have fallen ill and/or passed away, by consuming this product.
Why else have they not been able to provide me with an answer in over a month? Personally, if I can't get a straight answer from the manufacturer of any product I paid for, I end my business relationship with them. Therefore, effective immediately, I am pulling this product from our stock (I'm a dog breeder.
FWIW, I wrote a review on ACTR1UM Large Breed adult dog food, on WalMart's website. It was rejected. WalMart sent me an e-mail explaining why my review was rejected. See below :

A side note before I post my rejected review; In my review, I posted a website link to this forum, so I assume that's what they were referring to (my link) as "contains inappropriate content". As for the "customer service focused" issue; customer service is part of the product, as far as I'm concerned. You may agree or disagree. See below :
I have been buying ACTR1UM (blindly) for the past few years. I even run an unofficial ACTR1UM support board (https://actr1um.boards.net/). But when I had a question about their product, suddenly Walmart didn't understand simple English. Well, they must have not understood because they flat out ignored my email & question on their Google Page. I even tried contacting the company rumored to produce this product (Elmira Pet Foods), and wouldn't you know it? They ignored my questions as well. LOL, that's OK. I don't mind. I'll just buy another brand, and I'll be sharing my experience with WalMart & their brand ACTR1UM, on my board. I PERSONALLY, WOULD NEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT WHERE THE MANUFACTURER REFUSES TO STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. I'LL NEVER BUY ACTR1UM AGAIN. Their lack of a response (on several occasions) suggests to me, that they are peddling an inferior product & don't want to hear from customers whose dogs have fallen ill or passed away from consuming this product.
Yes, the tone of my review was harsh, but then not everything in life is pleasant & sweet. Take it with a grain of salt. Just my two cents.
May 17/2020 UPDATE : I tried to submit another review to Walmart about ACTR1UM Large Breed Adult formula.
My opinion is that Walmart will do anything to decline a negative review on this product. Check out this screenshot. It did not violate any of Walmart's terms, despite their claims.
Isn't it interesting that there's only one negative review on this product, and it relates to shipping? 🤔

May 25/2020 UPDATE : In the interest of being fair, I decided to give Walmart one more chance to post an honest, but negative review. And they have in fact posted my third, negative review. Overall, I must say that posting a negative review was a bit of a hassle. And one has to wonder how many people who wish to post a negative review, were willing to give it three attempts like I did. Something to think about. I just wanted to share the fact that they posted my review because I didn't want to post anything that wasn't true or that I couldn't back up. I'm still not impressed with the way things were handled. Think I'm going to start a GoFundMe account to test the quality and/or purity of this dog food.
June 24/2020 UPDATE : Surprise, surprise! My negative review (for ACTR1UM Holistic Large Breed Adult Dog), has been deleted.......again. Yeah, I don't trust these scumbags any more. Trust is an important thing for me. Walmart Canada has lost my trust. I don't appreciate having my voice silenced, and I really have to wonder how many other voices have been silenced, all in the name of turning a profit.
